John started Advance Sales Services in January 1998 primarily to look after public school boys end-of-term personal possessions. Having previously been involved in the logistics industry (He was heavily involved with the integration of UPS in the UK when they bought Carryfast in the early 1990's), he was suddenly overwhelmed with numerous businesses making contact for logistical guidance.

Realising there was a way to help small businesses via consolidation, rates were set up so they could trade both domestically and Internationally at a competitive level and grow their businesses.
